Part 104226 is the printed circuit board for ProTeam's ProForce 1500XP series uprights. It handles the machine's power control, and it is the part to look at once the obvious electrical suspects have been ruled out.
The pattern is familiar to anyone who services these. The vacuum works intermittently or refuses to switch on, the cord tests good, the breaker resets and holds, the switch clicks properly, and there is nothing left in between but the board. Boards fail from heat cycling and from the vibration a commercial upright lives with, and a scorched track or a lifted solder joint is often visible once the board is out of the machine.
Handle it by the edges, unplug the vacuum before opening anything, and confirm your model number first. It fits the ProForce 1200XP and 1500XP, ProForce 1500 and 1500 HEPA, and the ProCare 15XP.
