Part 841708 is the HEPA filter cover from ProTeam's triangular backpack vacuums. It fits a wide spread of the range: the Super Coach Pro 6 and Super Coach Pro 10 HEPA machines including models 1073110 and 1073120, the ProVac FS 6, and both generations of the GoFree Flex Pro.
The cover holds the exhaust filter in its housing and presses it against its seat. When the cover is cracked, or a latch has snapped and it no longer pulls down evenly, the filter is no longer clamped properly and exhaust air finds a path around it rather than through it, which defeats the point of running a HEPA machine in the first place.
It is a simple part to replace and worth doing straight away on any machine used where the filtration standard actually matters.
