This genuine OEM ProTeam foot pedal (Part #835676) is the 15-inch handle-release pedal for the ProTeam ProGen 12 and ProGen 15 upright vacuums. Stepping on the pedal unlocks the handle so you can recline the machine from upright storage into the cleaning position.
When the pedal cracks or the return spring weakens, the handle can stick upright or fail to latch, making the vacuum awkward to steer and store. A sound pedal restores the positive click that holds the handle where you set it.
