SEBO Pre-Motor Filter for 370 Series - Non-Standard Version

Two different pre-motor filters were fitted across the SEBO 370 series, and part 1825 is the non-standard one. If the filter you have just pulled out of the machine does not match the common 1875 microfilter, this is the version your 370 left the factory with. Holding the old part up against the listing before ordering is worth the minute it takes, because the two are not interchangeable.

Fits the SEBO 370 Comfort and the ELECTRONIC 370. A pre-motor filter sits in the airstream after the bag and ahead of the motor. Everything the bag lets through arrives here first, and an overfilled bag or one that has split a seam on a piece of grit lets through plenty. This is the last barrier between abrasive dust and the motor fan, and it costs a small fraction of what that motor does.

Look at it every second or third bag change. A pad gone uniformly gray rather than lightly dusted has done its work and is now a restriction rather than a protection, and a machine that has lost suction with a fresh bag fitted is very often pointing at this filter.

Telling the two apart is the only real difficulty with this part. Take the old filter out, compare its shape and frame against the listing photograph, and order 1825 if it matches this non-standard version or 1875 if it matches the common microfilter.
