This two-pack, part F671, is the pre-motor filter for Shark's IONFlex IF100 and 200 series stick vacuums, cross-referenced to Shark's own XPREMF100 and XPSTMF100 numbers and also listed against the F80.

Unlike the HEPA filter at the exhaust, the pre-motor filter sits ahead of the motor and takes the brunt of whatever the dust cup did not fully separate. When it clogs, the motor is the first thing affected: it draws harder to move air through the restriction, which on a battery-powered stick vacuum cuts runtime noticeably before pickup at the floor even seems to change. Two filters ship together so a clean spare is ready the moment the first one loads up.

Because this filter and the separate HEPA exhaust filter for the same machine wear at different rates, it is worth checking both rather than assuming a fresh HEPA filter means the whole airflow path is clear. The pre-motor stage sees dirtier air and typically needs attention more often, which is part of why Shark sells it separately as a two-pack rather than bundled with the exhaust filter.
