This geared-belt power nozzle motor (Part #MOTOR30) drives the brush roll in geared-belt power nozzles and fits the Carpet Pro CPU85, Oreck UK30200COM and UK30200PC, and the Titan PB11 nozzle. It turns the geared belt that spins the roller at carpet-cleaning speed.
When the brush roll sits still even though the belt is intact and unbroken, the nozzle motor has usually failed. A dead motor means no agitation, so the nozzle glides over carpet without lifting embedded dirt or pet hair. Installing a working replacement motor brings the brush roll back up to proper speed.
