This pistol grip hose switch and receptacle assembly (Part #SH130CBSHR01) repairs the switch on Plastiflex pistol-grip swivel-style central vacuum hoses. The kit includes the switch, the female receptacle, and the wiring harness.
The switch and its wiring take constant flexing at the handle, and over time the contacts fail or the harness breaks, leaving the power nozzle without control. Rebuilding the switch and receptacle restores on and off control from the handle.
- Fits: Beam, Electrolux, Canavac, and Vacuflo hoses using the Plastiflex pistol-grip swivel design
- Function: replacement switch, receptacle, and wiring harness
- Construction: the handle is not included in the kit
- Tip: disconnect the central vacuum system before doing any electrical work
