The Plastiflex SV8201 mounting plate with VEX fitting is a central vacuum wall inlet assembly that combines the mounting plate and pipe connection in one piece. It provides the connection point where you insert the hose to activate the system and begin cleaning in any room of the home.
A wall inlet should open and close smoothly and trigger the vacuum the moment the hose seats. If an existing inlet is cracked, will not open properly, or fails to activate the system, replacing the assembly restores full functionality without disturbing the piping behind the wall any more than necessary.
Standard installation fits most central vacuum piping systems, and the plate is compatible with Plastiflex model 0610. Match it to your existing valve style before ordering so the finished inlet sits flush and seals correctly.
