This replacement direct connect grey plug is the four-wire hose-end fitting for Plastiflex central vacuum systems, supplied with its cuff and built for the Plastiflex 5701. It carries the electrical connection that lets the handle switch power the central unit and any powered floor tool. It also carries part #SH130DC-R01.
When the plug's pins or wiring wear, the hose can lose its on and off control or switch only intermittently. Fitting a matched four-wire plug and cuff returns dependable power and switching through the hose.
