Product details

Part SV8232 is a CV-VEX-S style central vacuum wall inlet finished in almond to match warmer trim colors. It gives a room its plug-in connection point, closed off by a spring-loaded door when no hose is plugged in.

Inlets crack at the door hinge or the mounting ears from repeated use, and a worn seal around the plug lets the door sit loose instead of flush. Once the housing is cracked or the door will not close fully, the inlet needs to be swapped rather than patched.

  • Part: SV8232, CV-VEX-S inlet valve
  • Color: almond
  • Function: spring-loaded door, activates the system when a hose is plugged in
  • Tip: confirm your system uses the VEX-S inlet style before ordering

Installation is a straightforward swap at the wall box, using the same mounting screws already in place. Matching the almond finish across a house is also a reason people replace an inlet that still works, and it is a quick way to make every inlet look consistent again.
