The plastic squeegee tool is a 14-inch wet-pickup head that fits 1-1/2-inch Type 1 wands. Its molded blade channels standing water toward the suction opening, making it the tool for vacuuming up spills, flood water, and wash-down runoff with a commercial wet/dry machine.
Squeegee blades round off and stiffen with heavy use, and a worn edge skips over the floor and leaves streaks of water behind instead of drawing it cleanly to the nozzle. A fresh tool restores a sharp, full-width wipe so each pass lifts more water in less time.
