Product details

This is the geared belt Perfect makes for classic Electrolux power nozzle heads, part number 26-3315-02, cut with teeth that lock into the brush-roll pulley so it cannot slip the way an ungeared belt sometimes can.

It drives the PN5, PN6 and PN7 power nozzle heads used on Electrolux's later canister line: Genesis, Genesis LX, Genesis LXE, Epic 2500, Epic 3500, Lux 3000, Lux 4000, Lux 6000, and Electrolux's Discovery family, covering the Advantage, III and II variants, plus later Silverado units built with a PN5 head.

A geared belt fails on a different timeline than a flat one. Rather than slipping outright, it stretches and hardens with age, then loses teeth one by one, and once enough are gone the brush roll starts hesitating or stalling under load even with the nozzle motor still running at full speed, often with a hot-rubber smell close behind.

Belts also age sitting unused on a shelf, so a spare bought a season or two ago is worth checking for stiffness or surface cracking before it goes in, rather than assuming an unused belt is automatically good.

  • Part: 26-3315-02, geared belt for PN5/PN6/PN7 nozzle heads
  • Fits: Electrolux Genesis/LX/LXE, Epic 2500/3500, Lux 3000/4000/6000, Discovery Advantage/III/II, later PN5 Silverado
  • Symptom: brush roll hesitating or stalling under load, motor still running, hot rubber smell
  • Also check: a stored spare belt for glazing or cracked teeth before installing it
