This genuine OEM Panasonic release pedal (part #65-6613-08) fits the MC-CG887 power nozzle and mounts at the neck with a screw. The pedal releases the nozzle neck so the wand can recline and pivot as you steer across the floor.
A cracked or broken pedal can lock the neck upright or leave it loose, so the nozzle no longer reclines smoothly under furniture and along edges. Forcing a damaged pedal strains the neck joint. A fresh pedal restores clean, positive neck movement.
