This genuine OEM Panasonic OptiFlow bottom plate fits the MC-UG775. The plate closes the underside of the nozzle around the brush roll, forming the sealed suction chamber that keeps airflow concentrated at the floor for effective pickup.
A bottom plate that has cracked or warped breaks that seal, so air leaks in around the gap instead of drawing through the nozzle and suction at the floor falls off. Installing a fresh plate restores the sealed chamber and returns the vacuum to full cleaning performance across carpet and bare floors.
