This replacement hose wiring harness fits the Panasonic MC-V9658 and the Panasonic 1303. The harness runs through the hose to carry electrical current to the powered floor nozzle. It is also available as part #47-1303-07.
When a hose harness frays or breaks internally, the power nozzle can lose power or cut in and out even though the vacuum itself still runs. Replacing the harness restores a continuous electrical path so the nozzle receives steady power throughout the hose's range of movement.
