This gray bag slide and clamp fits Oreck 9000 series upright vacuums, model U2000HH. The mechanism locks the dust bag onto the intake port so collected debris stays sealed inside the bag.
When the slide or clamp wears, bends, or breaks, the bag can work loose from the port, breaking the airtight seal and letting dust escape during operation. That both dirties the machine and drops suction. A new slide and clamp restores a secure, leak-free bag connection.
