A stretched or broken belt stops the brush roll and lets carpet cleaning fall off, and this non-stretch Mylar belt brings a Hoover back to full power. It fits the Hoover UH70200 and similar WindTunnel models, driving the brush roll from the motor shaft with a film belt that holds its length.
Standard rubber belts slacken as they heat and age until the brush roll slips or stalls, well before an obvious break. Mylar resists that stretch, so the belt keeps consistent tension and the brush roll spins at full speed through a longer service life.
