This Mylar flat belt fits the Hoover UH70200 WindTunnel Rewind Plus upright and drives the brush roll from the motor shaft. Mylar film holds its dimensions far better than rubber, so the belt keeps the brush roll turning at a consistent speed instead of gradually slackening.
A rubber belt stretches with heat and age until the brush roll slows, glazes the belt, or throws it entirely, and carpet agitation suffers long before the belt actually breaks. A low-stretch Mylar replacement maintains steady tension over a longer service life and keeps pickup strong.
