This 12 inch Exhaust Muffler is a noise-reduction tube for central vacuum systems with a 2 inch exhaust opening. Central vacuum power units usually live in a garage, basement, or utility room, and adding a muffler to the exhaust pipe brings operating noise down significantly, which the whole household will notice.
Installation is straightforward: the muffler fits the 2 inch exhaust port, and it can be mounted vertically using a 90 degree spigot sweep L fitting where the layout requires it. This part also replaces the Ovo Central Vacuum Muffler #765500W.
