This replacement motor spacer fits Hoover broom vacuums, models 2095 and 2099. The spacer sits around the motor to hold it in correct alignment inside the housing so the armature turns true.
When a spacer is missing or damaged, the motor can shift out of alignment, which brings on extra vibration, added noise, and faster wear of the bearings and armature. Fitting the correct spacer settles the motor back into position and quiets the machine.
