This is the mini valve finish for a 22 foot Hide A Hose installation, part MINIVALVEFINISH22: the visible half of the inlet, the plate and valve that face into the room once the rough-in is buried in the wall.

It does more than tidy up the hole. The valve is what opens to accept the hose and what tells the system to start, so a trim that has cracked, jammed or lost its spring means either a vacuum that will not switch on or a hose that no longer feeds cleanly back into the tubing.

It is the finish for a 22 foot point, so check the hose length your inlet was built around before ordering. The 40 foot garage version is a separate part. The rough-in stays in the wall either way, since only the finish comes off.
