This genuine OEM black suction motor fan generates airflow inside the Maytag M1200 and matching two-motor Riccar R30D, R30P, R30PET and Simplicity S30D, S30P, S30PET units. The fan mounts on the suction motor shaft and moves the air that carries dirt into the bag.
A chipped or unbalanced fan loses suction and sets up vibration and noise that wear the motor bearings. Because the fan spins at high speed, any damage quickly compounds. A balanced replacement restores full suction and smooth, quiet running.
