This lightweight frieze carpet adapter raises the cleaning head for effective cleaning on thick, high-pile, and frieze carpet. It fits the Riccar Super Lite and matching Maytag and Simplicity lightweight upright models, attaching at the nozzle to add clearance.

Without an adapter, a lightweight upright can bind up or lose suction on deep, plush carpet as the head sits too tight to the fibers. The adapter lifts the nozzle to keep airflow moving over high pile. That protects both the carpet and the machine from the strain of too-tight brush contact.
