This Kenmore lower body shell (Part #KC03ADKNZV06) replaces the base housing on models 116.21514010, 116.21714110, 116.21714111, 116.51714111, 116.51714111B, and 116.51714111C. It encloses the internal components and gives the vacuum its structural foundation.
Once the lower body cracks or its mounts break, air escapes through the split and suction falls, while the shell can flex and let parts inside shift. A fresh replacement body closes the leak, reseats the internals, and puts the machine back on a solid frame.
