This replacement lower base fits the Beam BM1176 power nozzle and a range of compatible central vacuum heads. The base houses the brush roll and sets the cleaning height, giving the nozzle its structure as it rides across the carpet.
A cracked or warped base throws off brush height and lets the nozzle clean unevenly, and severe damage can leave the brush roll unsupported. A sound lower base returns the correct height and a flat, level ride for consistent agitation.
