The left housing for the Rexair Aquamate (Part #R2471) is a replacement half of the shell that encloses and supports the Aquamate's internal components. It forms the left side of the tool's body and holds the working parts in alignment.
A housing that has cracked, warped, or broken at a mounting point can let parts shift, allow leaks, or leave sharp edges exposed. Damage to the shell also makes the Aquamate harder to assemble and can throw off the fit of the pieces inside. Fitting a sound left housing restores a solid, properly aligned body.
