This Koblenz Shampooer/Polisher left-hand bronze gear (Part #46-1718-9) is a genuine OEM gear made for Koblenz P-1800, P-4000, P2500, P2600, P800, and P820A machines. It works within the drive train to turn one of the counter-rotating pad or brush spindles.
As the bronze teeth wear or strip, the drive loses its grip and the pads can slip, chatter, or quit spinning on that side. Fitting a fresh left-hand gear restores proper mesh and returns the smooth, even rotation the machine relies on.
