Kirby changed the switch trim when the Sentria arrived, and part 610006S is the bezel for that machine - five of them to a pack. It frames the power switch on the upper housing of the Sentria upright.
What you notice first is cosmetic: a crack running out from the switch opening, or a corner gone so the frame sits skewed. What follows is not, because the gap lets hair and grit work into the switch itself. A bezel costs almost nothing; the switch behind it does not.
Snap the new one into its recess until it sits flush with the shell, then check the switch still travels freely inside the new frame before the machine goes back to work. The other four stay in the drawer for next time - they tend to break during service rather than in use.
