This genuine OEM Kirby suds screen in orange keeps foam from reaching the vacuum motor during carpet shampooing. Part of the Rug Renovator shampoo system, it fits Kirby G5, GSIX, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, Sentria, Sentria II, Avalir, and Avalir 2.
During shampooing, suds can be pulled toward the motor, and a torn or missing screen lets foam and moisture reach internal parts that should stay dry. Installing a fresh suds screen restores proper foam control and shields the motor from water damage.
