This 10-pack of genuine OEM Kirby rear bearing thrust springs (Part #314990A) fits Kirby uprights from the 1CB and later, including the Avalir, Avalir 2, Avalir Platinum, Classic III 2CB, Classic Omega 1CB, Classic I CR, Diamond Edition, Dual Sanitronic 50 and 80, G4, G5, Gen 3, GSix, Heritage II, Heritage II Legend, Legend II, Sentria, Tradition, and Ultimate G. Each spring applies the preload that keeps the rear motor bearing seated.
When these springs weaken, the rear bearing can float in its seat, bringing on motor noise, vibration, and early bearing wear. Fresh springs restore steady preload so the bearing stays put and the motor runs quiet.
