This replacement lower hose fits the Kenmore DU2015 and 30725 bagless uprights. The hose runs internally between the floor nozzle and the dust collection area, carrying dirt-laden air along the machine's main suction path.
A lower hose that has cracked, kinked, or slipped off a fitting bleeds or blocks airflow, and either way suction and pickup at the nozzle fall off noticeably. Fitting a sound hose reseals the path so the machine draws full airflow through to the collection chamber again.
