SEBO Cord Reel to Circuit Board Internal Cable for the C Series

Mains power reaches the C-series control board through a short internal lead, and 6291 is that lead. It runs between the cord reel contacts and the machine's circuit board, carrying the whole current draw across a length of harness that flexes each time the cord winds in. SEBO lists it for the C1.1, the C2.1 and the C3.1.

Conductors fatigue where they bend and terminals loosen where they carry load, which is how a canister develops an intermittent start, drops out when the cord is tugged, or refuses to wake at all. The tell-tale is a machine whose behaviour changes when the cord is pulled out to a different length, because that is the cable moving. Renewing this lead rules out one of the more common electrical faults in an older machine before anyone starts pricing a control board. Unplug it before opening anything.

The trim around the plug is 6007DG; from the reel the supply crosses this cable and reaches the electronic controller, ordered separately as 6295ER or 6407ER depending on the machine, before it drives the motor, which is 6165. While the cover is off, check the reel contacts for burning and look at the rewind side too: the pedal spring there is 6023 and the panel that closes over both the motor bay and the reel is 6192, sealed to the bottom casing by 6186.
