Total Control Hose Handle (White, Without Electronics) - Beam Central Vacuum

Beam's Total Control hose puts the controls in the handle, and part 170409 replaces the handle's outer shell in white: the left and right halves only. There is no wiring harness and no switch in this kit, and it fits the two-wire Total Control handle on the Beam 1312 hose.

That makes it the right part for a cosmetic failure rather than an electrical one. A handle that has been dropped and cracked, a broken tab that lets the halves gap open, or a shell so scuffed it lets down an otherwise sound hose. If the electronics inside still work, there is no reason to buy a complete handle.

The repair is a transplant: open the old shell, lift the harness and switch out intact, and close the new halves around them. Check first that yours is the two-wire Total Control handle, as this shell fits nothing else.
