This hose assembly (Part #8192775) is a replacement 7-foot, 3-wire hose for Kenmore canister vacuums. It carries dirt from the cleaning tool to the dust collector and uses a three-prong machine-side connector for both suction and the electrical connection.
A hose that has cracked, torn, or gone intermittent at the wiring loses suction and can cut power to the nozzle. Fitting a fresh assembly restores a sealed air path and a solid electrical connection. Note that the machine end has three pins, so the switch may need rewiring on some models.
