The Hoover Extender Harness for the CH93406 backpack vacuum is a genuine OEM wiring component compatible with the Hoover CH93406 and CH93619. It installs as a direct replacement, with no modification required, and restores the machine's electrical connections to their intended condition.
An extender harness bridges wiring between sections of the vacuum, and like any flexing electrical part it can fatigue over time. If a backpack vacuum in your care has developed intermittent power that seems to follow movement, worn or damaged harness wiring is one of the first things worth checking before condemning the motor or switch.
