This Poly-V serpentine belt (Hutchinson Poly.V 6PH319 Flexonic) fits the newer Hoover Platinum series lightweight uprights, including the UH30010, UH30010COM, UH30010CCA, UH30010CPC, and UH30010CPD, along with the commercial CH50400. The grooved belt drives the brushroll from the motor.
Unlike a smooth rubber belt, this grooved serpentine design grips more firmly and lasts longer, much like an automotive serpentine belt. A worn belt slips, slows the brushroll, or shows wear across the grooves. Fitting a fresh belt restores full brush speed and agitation.
