This 3-wire PTO (power take-off) cord (Part #46512003) is a replacement cord that carries power to the power nozzle on select Hoover V-Series and V2 upright vacuums. It links the vacuum body to the nozzle so the brush-roll motor receives current during cleaning.
A PTO cord that frays or breaks can stop the brush roll from spinning and may create a safety hazard at the damaged spot. Replacing it with the correct 3-wire cord restores power to the nozzle and returns safe, normal brush-roll operation.
