The Hoover transfer pulley clamp is a belt-drive component for Hoover upright vacuums, model UH70010. Its job is simple and essential. It secures the transfer pulley in position so the belt runs at the correct tension and the brushroll receives steady, consistent drive.
When this clamp loosens or breaks, the pulley shifts under load. Belts slip, squeal, or wear through early, and the brushroll slows or stalls on carpet even though the motor sounds fine. Many belt problems that look like a bad belt are actually a pulley that is no longer held where it belongs.
