This genuine OEM Hoover telescopic wand locking ring fits the CH34006 and CH93406. The ring sits at the telescoping joint and clamps the inner and outer wand sections at your chosen length.
When the locking ring wears or cracks, the wand collapses or slips under pressure and will not hold its extension. A fresh ring restores a firm lock so the wand stays put during above-floor cleaning. A ring that grips as intended also spares the wand tube from the scoring that a loose, rattling joint can cause.
