The Hoover motor gasket kit (part #440004386) fits the FH50130 Steam Vacuum and related FH50140 models. These OEM gaskets seal the motor housing so airflow follows its intended path instead of leaking around the motor.
Gaskets harden and compress over time, and once a seal fails the machine loses airflow efficiency and can let dust bypass filtration near the motor. A poor seal shows up as weaker suction or dust escaping around the housing. Fresh gaskets restore a tight, sealed motor chamber.
