Fitted to select Hoover Spirit upright models, this replacement bumper in blue (Part #36231096) rings the nozzle to absorb impacts as the vacuum meets baseboards and furniture. It cushions the head against contact.
Once a bumper hardens or tears, it stops cushioning those contacts, and the exposed housing can scratch woodwork and furniture legs. A fresh bumper restores that protective cushion and keeps both the surfaces and the vacuum looking clean.
