This replacement Hoover agitator pulley seal fits the U5445 upright and model CH50010. The small rubber seal closes the gap around the brush roll pulley, preventing air leaks and helping hold drive belt tension steady.
A worn or missing seal lets fine dust work into the belt drive area and allows air to leak at the pulley, which can loosen belt tension and reduce agitation at the brush roll. A fresh seal restores the airtight fit and keeps the drive running as designed.
