This genuine OEM Hoover screw secures the cord retainer on WindTunnel uprights. It fits the CH50010, U5140900, U5458900, U5458910, U5460900, U5462900, U5467900, U5468900, U5470900, U5471900, U5472900, and U5473900, along with the Oreck and Royal UR30075. The screw provides the correct thread and length for that mount.
A missing or stripped screw lets the cord retainer loosen, so the cord can pull free and the assembly rattles during use. The wrong screw risks stripping the thread or failing to hold. The correct hardware secures the retainer cleanly.
