This Royal Lid Assembly is an OEM replacement dome lid for the C2401 and C2401010 backpack vacuums, also fitting the Royal RY4000 and RY4001. The dome lid accepts both 1-1/2 inch and 1-1/4 inch screw-on hoses, covering the common hose sizes used with these machines.
The lid provides secure closure for the vacuum's collection compartment during operation. A cracked or poorly seated lid causes air leaks that noticeably reduce suction, and on a backpack vacuum it can also allow collected debris to escape while you work. If suction has dropped and the filters and hose check out, inspect the lid and its seal next.
This direct-fit replacement snaps into place. Compatible with Hoover C2401, C2401010, and KE3600, and Royal RY4000 and RY4001 backpack vacuums.
