This genuine OEM Hoover pre-motor filter cover assembly (Part #59135327) fits the Hoover S3825. The cover secures the pre-motor filter in place and directs airflow through it, keeping the filter sealed against the machine so dust cannot bypass it on the way to the motor.
A cracked or ill-fitting cover lets air slip around the filter instead of through it, which sends fine dust toward the motor and can weaken suction. A cover that no longer latches cleanly may also let the filter shift out of place. A sound cover assembly restores a proper seal and clean airflow.
