This replacement Hoover nozzle base assembly (Part #410127001) fits the Hoover UH71009 and UH71012 upright vacuums. This bottom housing encloses the brushroll and forms the primary airflow inlet where the vacuum meets the floor.
When the nozzle base cracks or warps, the brushroll chamber no longer seals, so suction leaks and the machine loses pickup at the floor line. A fresh base restores the enclosed airflow path and keeps the brushroll properly housed.
