This genuine OEM Hoover motor clamp is the left-side clamp for Hoover CH50400 and UH30010 and Royal UR30095. The clamp helps hold the motor securely in its mount inside the housing.
A cracked or loose motor clamp lets the motor shift, which can add vibration and noise and disturb the seal around the motor. Securing the motor properly keeps it running smoothly and quietly and preserves the seal around it. This direct-fit left clamp installs without modification.
