This OEM height adjustment knob restores precise nozzle positioning to the Hoover U6425, and the U64019RM. It fits U6439-900, U6454-900, U6485-900, U6630-900, U6634-900, UH50000, UH50005B, UH60000, and UH60010, turning the height adjuster so the nozzle rides at the correct depth for each surface.
Without a working knob, the vacuum skims over carpet or bogs down on hard floors because the height will not set or hold. Setting the correct nozzle height improves suction on hard surfaces and protects carpet fibers, and the factory knob makes that adjustment firm again.
