The Hoover inlet filter (part #440009175) fits the CH34006 and CH93406 backpack and the CH93619. This genuine OEM foam filter traps dust and debris at the inlet before they reach the motor, extending the machine's life.
A clogged or broken-down inlet filter restricts airflow and lets debris pass toward the motor, both of which shorten motor life and cut suction. Foam media eventually stops springing back to shape as it ages. Rinsing keeps it working, and replacing a worn one restores clean airflow.
