The hose assembly connects the upright's suction path to the wand and above-floor tools on Hoover's high-performance swivel uprights, and this replacement is Hoover part 440014836.
Hoses on an upright fail at the ends far more often than in the middle. The cuffs are where the hose is twisted every time the wand is pulled out and pushed back, and a split there is easy to overlook because the damage sits under the collar. What you notice instead is that the floor head still cleans well while the hose tools barely pick anything up, since a leak upstream of the tool robs it before the air ever gets there.
This assembly fits the Hoover UH75100, UH75110, UH75110V, UH75120, UH75200, UH75200V, UH75210, UH75210V, UH75250 and UH75260.
